You spend every day nurturing curiosity in children. This day is for you.

The Curious Educator’s Summit is an inaugural, day-long professional development experience created to celebrate, connect and elevate early childhood educators, childcare workers and teachers in the early years across Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario. It’s hosted by Nature’s Nest Co., a family lifestyle and early learning company founded right here in Thunder Bay.

This year’s theme is Growing Gratitude: how nurturing gratitude in the early years can support lifelong well-being.

Your free ticket includes:

  • A keynote from Taes Leavitt, two-time JUNO Award–winning performer, emotional wellness educator and creator of The Big Heart Journey

  • Teaching Gratitude in Children with Nicole Thompson, founder of The Fulfilled Classroom

  • A fireside chat with Gladys Berringer on service leadership in youth and the early years

  • Speed networking: Plant a Connection

  • A picnic-style lunch and visits to the sponsor booths

  • The Rooted & Refreshed Cocktail Hour with live music, draws and appetizers

  • A curated educator swag bag to take home

    Good to know

    • One ticket per educator. Please register only if you plan to attend.

    • After you register, you’ll get a confirmation email with everything you need.

    • Can’t make it after all? Let us know so your spot can go to another educator.

Spots are limited, so reserve yours early. We can’t wait to grow with you. 🌱
