    Sun Bowl Farms is owned and operated by Farmer Josh. He has a passion for agriculture, and is eager to share his knowledge, and crops, with Nature’s Nest. Acting as our main produce supplier, farmer Josh is a self-starter, utilizing Loch Lomond’s lush land to cultivate his crops.

    Entershine Bookshop features local authors of every genre, and, every year Entershine hires a local artist to produce five new designs for their popular seasonal bookmark program. We are delighted to partner with Entershine Bookshop for our “Children’s Book Club” featuring local children’s authors.

    Dough Bagel Co. is a local labor of love, spearheaded by women ownership. We are pleased to partner with Dough Bagel Co. to offer Nature’s Nest children fresh, locally made bagels & cream cheese once a month.

    Maybellina has been making perogies since 2015 from the comfort of her home. She comes Health Unit Certified, and makes our perogies special for our dietary needs. We are so grateful for our partnership with Maybellina.

    George's Market & Celebrations is a family business that has been operating since 1961. They are now in their second and third generation. They take pride in using local and Canadian ingredients when they are in season and at their prime to give their customers the very best.

  • Sweet North Bakery

    Both born and raised in Thunder Bay, Kris and Erinn DeLorenzi have a love for the city and all the local ingredients it provides. Kris has traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe, Central America, and Australia and has woven those flavours in the kitchen. Erinn is family-trained and grew up baking and selling Christmas treats to friends and family. She continues to use the recipes her mother and grandparents used in yesteryear. Now raising their family in the city they adore, Kris and Erinn combine their local and international tastes to create sweet and savoury goods for the community.

  • Thunder Oak Cheese Farm

    At Thunder Oak Cheese Farm, the Scheps bring to Canada the experience and tradition of Dutch cheese-making. In 2002, Thunder Oak won the Dairy Farmers of Canada Grand Prix award for best Firm Cheese. In 2007 Walter and Martin Schep purchased Thunder Oak Cheese Farm from their parents. Walter and his wife Joanne run the cheese processing plant while Martin and his wife Charmaine run the dairy farm.
